65 seat belts ?

Post by Dredge »

It looks like seat belts were optional on my D200. I have 2 sets that I could install. Anyone have a pic of where they should be attached ?
Early '65 D200 - NO! It doesn't have power windows-power door locks-5 way power seats-cruise control-power steering-power brakes..It's not a car, It's a Truck, a REAL TRUCK!

I don't have a pic, but can tell you that the
seat belts mount to the vertical wall of the
"shelf" where the gas tank sits. There are
fine threaded "kept" nuts which accept the
seat belt bolts. Your rear bench seat mount
brackets are also on this vertical wall.

My cab didn't have them either, so I installed them. Here is a pic before, and I'll see if I can find one for after...

I haven't pulled the seat just yet. I'm not starting on any interior work for a while. No holes, no studs, no nothing! - I figured that someone had pulled every thing out and took a pic. Before I scrapped the Polara I kept a few things that I thought would be useful including all of the seat belts and bolts.

I did see the spots on that shelf and will be checking it out ASAP.

Thx fort the info guys
