So I went to O' Reilly, they had a little bottle of Dot-5 for $10.00. :pale
They also had their house brand of Hydraulic clutch oil for $5.00. Anyone know about or use this stuff?

DO NOT add either of those to your brake or clutch masters. They will not mix with the DOT 3 that is in there now.

He knows to purge it with methanol first.

...a hardline loop to the slave ...
My '67 has a hard line from master to slave with a single loop near the slave end. The loop is about 3" diameter and is located right where the firewall tucks back from vertical.

Already bought the ethanol to clean the system.
Considering I don't know how many times I'm going to have to tear the system apart to get it working correctly or to replace parts, I'll probably just start with Dot 3 first rather than dump $30.00 of Dot-5 on the ground.
Once the system has proven itself I can bleed it out, clean and replace w/ Dot 5.

Thanks Ken
Does the loop lay flat to the ground or on edge?

I hope you meant Methanol (denatured alcohol), not ethanol. The latter won't work.

Hydraulic oil 32 is just a weight for hydraulic systems they make it in different weights like engine oil 46 is thicker and so on .
