Hello,
Can somebody post a couple of pics of the routing of the hydraulic clutch line routing along the firewall on a '65 PW? PO has completely mutilated it and i am wanting to bend a new one to replace it. Thanks

Re: Mustang II IFS
I had the same problem, I use "Icecream Image Resizer" its free and you can do multiple pics at a time. I test 1 picture until i figure the correct size to meet the size requirements then i put all the pics in a single folder and resize the whole folder. The program then creates a folder in the fold...

Re: Header options for a 68 D100 440 w/ Crown Vic IFS swap
If long tubes are a must, then you will either have to get a custom set made or modify an existing header to make it fit. I would pick the set that requires the least amount of modification and start cutting tubes till it fits, both them on and get some mandrel bent tube in the size of the header tu...

Re: 4x4 conversion
A donor truck with complete drive train would take most of the guess work out as you have all the parts to start with and then find replacements for the parts that don't fit like drive shafts and. Even a small block truck will work as the 4spd trans will bolt to the big block bell housing. I used a ...

Re: Rear Axel problem
The Dodge "Traction Control" and other limited slip differentials will still spin in opposite directions. Only a "locker" will not spin. I have never seen a sure grip or other LSD in good working order spin the tires in opposite directions with both tires off the ground and trans in neutral. both t...

Re: Road Trip
Sounds like a good trip. I would love 12s/13s for mileage. I have 3.91 and a 383 and i am lucky to get 8-10 mpg. I stay off the highway as much as possible due to the 3:91s

Re: Mustang II IFS
Thank you, good information.
Now if only we can get one of our sweptline friends that have done the swap to upload some youtube videos of installing a CV IFS on a dodge, we would be in the money.

Re: Mustang II IFS
Ditto, Please, somebody do a Crown Vic IFS install thread. The only crown vic install i have seen was on Gas Monkey and it looked like it was a pain in the a@$. All the others looked scabbed together. If it is the easiest IFS to convert our trucks to, then it should be easy to throw a tech thread to...

Re: 80 4wd front axle swap to 71 2wd
I converted a 69 4x2 to 4x4 using a 1985 Donor truck. Hardest part was the shock mounts on the front axle, rear driveshaft (I am pretty sure I used the front driveshaft from the '85 too), and drilling holes in the frame for the transmission cross member (i used a 4 speed). I used both axles, transfe...

Re: Engine stutter, and back fire
Sounds like a Lean cough or maybe even timing or both. My truck had a real bad hesitation and backfiring through carb and it turned out to be old gas in my case. Ran all the gas out and filled it up and it never happened again.

Re: New wheels, strange vibration. Please help.
Not sure if the 1965 D200 had swedged lug bolts in the drums, i know on my 68, my lug bolts were swedged and the aftermarket wheels i installed did not fit over the swedge part of the lug bolt so that even the the lug nuts were tight, they were tight to the swedge shoulder part of the lug bolt and N...

Re: ute frame swb vs swept swb frame
Has anyone convert their lwb to swb? I could swear i read a thread a while ago about having to cut some of the frame out of the middle of the frame and some off the back of the frame. I am not having any luck finding it though.

i have searched and didn't find the answer.
Are the later the SWB Ute 4x2 frames the same as the later swept SWB 4x2 frames of the same years?? i am going to convert my 68 LWB 4x2 to a SWB and trying to determine my options.
