Carb Vacuum Lines?

Post by FastbackJon »

1971 D100 factory 383-2bbl.

I see a small sized vacuum line on the passenger side of the carb and another small sized one on the back. When I got it the one on the back ran to the distributor vacuum advance and the other one had an 8" hose on it that wasn't connected to anything.

Is the rear one correct and should the other one be plugged or go somewhere?

Thanks!

the other line may have gone to a valve cover breather for ventilation, or to a brake booster if you have added power brakes.
