Balancer Pully Change

Post by HellBelly »

My 71 has a 74 /6 in it and it has a Double pully on the harmonic balancer.

I need to change radiators but I'm unable to this because the radiators are different styles and that double pulley is in the way.

Can I take the single balancer pulley off my other engine and put it on this one? Will that cause a crank balancing problem you think?

Any thoughts?

would assume all the /6's are balanced the same. but you would need to swap all the pullys, not just the crank, or you might have an alignment problem.
