I like my 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse...2.4 4cyl. 5 speed.Good gas milage..These things are pretty quick. Simply go to Advance Auto, Autozone, or any body & paint store, Carquest, etc. They come three (3) in a pack, just bring the size of your drilled hole with you, as they come in all sizes. You said the truck now has a 383 /automatic in it now..orginal engine?.make sure the back of the crank is drilled for the input shaft/pilot bearing..Some engines that came with automatics aren't drilled .........pat

Block has a bad crack thats not repairable...the guy I got it from dropped it off the back of his truck and it hit on lower side cracking the block and lower lip near oil pan. Those things are HEAVY.It came from a 57 Dodge wrecker like a d300 or something that big.......pat

The 354 has a bad block so I was thinking of using the top half on a poly but the poly I can get is a 62. If I were to find a 51-58 poly engine is the tranny bolt pattern the same on the back of the engine?Also crank bolt up too? I have a push button in my 63 now. I'n not going for hp but more for l...

Another new guy here. I signed up a couple of days ago. I have been doing a lot of reading here. I am buying a 67 Sweptline from a friend next month, it still has the 318/ 3 in the tree original wheels and poverty caps. Wonder if the guy that put it together had ideas of making this a dump with a box.The extra space might be for clearance to raise box and not hit cab.Had a friend do this ,added a ram and hinges,used it to haul firewood............pat
