Undercoating in the front wheel wells??? Yes or No??

I put my Town Wagon back together and its running and driving. Putting many of the finishing touches on it for the time being and wondering what you guys have done to your front wheel wells. Mine are just painted now but I see rocks and other road debris making quick work of that. What have you guys...

Town Wagon Window Rubber Needed (All Windows)

I'm in need of the window seals for the 2 rear windows on the back doors, the 2 side windows on each side (the sliders, not solid glass) and the belt line and window channel felt for both front doors on my '66 Town Wagon. These are different than the '61-'71's ..... I checked Steele's and Restoratio...

Re: Town Wagon Windshield Gasket

So it looks like the '56-'60 pickups have the same windshields as the '55-'66 Town Wagons. I did find a vendor in CA that has the gaskets: http://www.autoobsession.com/55-66dodge ... asket.aspx

I will likely order one this week so I can get this truck buttoned up!!!!

Re: Town Wagon Windshield Gasket

I assumed as much given the way the glass wraps around the sides of the truck... the 61-71's didnt look the same.

Does anyone know a vendor who sells the correct gasket for the Townies/Fargos/ etc?

Town Wagon Windshield Gasket

Does anyone know if the Restoration Specialities windshield gasket (Part #990815-WS) for the '61-'71 dodges will fit a '66 Town wagon??? It seems as if the windshields on the Town Wagons have a bit more "wraparound" at the edges than the pickups did. Here's the link to their product: http://stores.r...

so here's where I'm at. First Pic is the Curb side. I have about three fingers clearance at the front of the tire. On the Driver's side (second pic), it's more like one finger....

Re: Front Leaf Springs - Are they directional when installin

So, I removed the spring, flipped it, and no change.. Still have clearance issues on the Driver's side. Doug, the springs do have eyes up on both ends, even they were sold as a Dodge part.... Any way, I have some shims and will try to make some minor adjustments on that side using the shims.... Will...

Re: Front Leaf Springs - Are they directional when installin

From what I can tell, they are identical and symmetrical, which is why I didn't really put much thought into installing them. I will go re-measure them and post a couple pics of what I'm running into...

Front Leaf Springs - Are they directional when installing?

I installed a new set of leafs from General spring. The A & B measurements are both 24" so I assumed that it didn't matter which way they were installed. I now have the fenders bolted on and am noticing a difference in the clearance on the driver's side, like the axle is positioned further forward o...

Driveline Torque Question

With the driveshaft out of the vehicle and the vehicle in neutral, should the tail shaft that the driveshaft connects to on the transmission still be spinning? If I push the clutch pedal in, it stops, so it can engage the gear, but wondering if there should be some amount of torque on the tranny eve...

Dana 44 Spring Mounting Question

So the passenger side of the axles I have only use one U-bolt, on the outside. The inside mounting location for the spring has 2 bolts coming out of the top of the axles due to the way the differential housing is shaped. I put new springs on and it appears I may have a clearance issue. Do I remove o...

Brake Booster Mounting Brackets

Does anyone know where I can buy the Ugly Truckling or comparable booster mounting brackets? I purchased a booster/dual master setup but am coming up empty on finding the hardware to mount it to my firewall - 1966 D-100 Town Wagon.

Re: Need Longer Wheel Studs!!

Thanks for the advice. I looked at Summit's studs and they won't work due to the serrated part of the stud. I need ones with a longer shoulder than what they show. I think I may need to go with a spacer/adapter or look for different wheels. I got these fro free so no investment lost, just really lik...
