oRe: need input.
My '67 D100 shorty was originally a slant 6/3 tree. Replaced with a '66 318Poly/np435. You can use the bellhousing/clutch from the /six and your 4 speed behind a 318 small block. You will need small block truck motor brackets. Stick with a 318, as Terry stated, the 360 is externally balanced and PIT...

Re: replacement floor mats
Last time I checked(about 3 years ago), I was told there was not enough interest to cover the cost to re-pop to the original spec.'s. There is a full cab vinyl carpet available (Rockauto & others). Not the best fit.

Re: part number for 61'tapered non flange axle seals
Rock auto should have the seals. You will need this style hub puller to make life a bit easier and not destroy the hub/drum. As others stated, best to source a complete 8-3/4 flanged axle differential if possible.Good luck.

Re: Sudden onset of "death wobble"?
The only one I could find for my '67 D100 was the ES62L. I test fit it in an extra tie rod I have and it is proper thread and taper looks the same.

Re: Oil pressure gauge wiring 67 318
The fitting is 1/8" npt. You can source the fitting at your local big box store, auto supply or online. Copper line for the oil gauge is a good choice.

Re: Oil pressure gauge wiring 67 318
You can add a mechanical oil pressure gauge and keep the idiot light. Install a T out of the block by the distributor where the sending unit was and run the sending unit on 1 side and the oil line on the other side. Tight fit on back of block but not difficult.

It's got the brackets as well. Shop that chrome plated mine straightened it. If you decide to sell it , you will have a line of takers.
